Since ancient times, the Nanbu region of Aomori Prefecture has been renowned as a breeding ground for fine horses, dating back to the Heian period. Even today, traces of this deep-rooted horse culture can be glimpsed throughout the region.

This tour marked the revival of FRC’s domestic tours, featuring trail rides on the "New Nanbu Horses" and a cultural journey into Japan’s historical horse heritage.

Schedule

May 28 (Sat)

  • 09:08 — Depart Tokyo Station via Tohoku Shinkansen (Hayabusa No.11)

  • 12:14 — Arrive at Shichinohe-Towada Station

  • 12:30–14:00 — Lunch at Kaneko Farm NARABI

  • 14:00–14:30 — Visit Former Morita Ranch Nanbu Magariya Stable (Registered Cultural Property)

  • 12:00 — Shopping and lunch at Hasshoku Center (seafood market)

By extending your stay one additional day, you can participate in a Yabusame (horseback archery) experience at Towada Riding Club. Beginners are welcome!
